Shlomi Wolraich Case Sheds Light on Complex Criminal Allegations
Shlomi Wolraich, 44, the owner of the Hazy Daze smoke shop chain in Galveston, Texas, is at the center of a high-profile criminal case following a six-month investigation led by an organized crime task force. Authorities allege that his smoke shops were used as fronts for the distribution of tryptamine, a psychotropic substance, primarily targeting younger individuals.
In a coordinated raid of three Hazy Daze locations, officials arrested four additional individuals and seized more than $1.6 million in assets. Wolraich now faces charges of engaging in organized criminal activity and money laundering exceeding $300,000.
Represented by Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC
Wolraich is being defended by Jonathan Zendeh Del, founder of Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC, a respected criminal defense firm known for its strong track record in high-stakes cases. Zendeh Del has firmly stated that there is no evidence his client was involved in selling any illegal substances.
“Mr. Wolraich travels frequently and is often out of the country. He simply wasn’t present to be involved in the daily operations of these stores,” said Zendeh Del. “We believe the facts will clear his name.”
Released on Bond — Conditions Applied
Originally held without bond, Wolraich was later granted a $500,000 bond with the requirement that he surrender all passports within 24 hours of his release.
His defense team continues to emphasize that Wolraich has long been a charitable and religious figure, known for supporting families in need both locally and abroad—especially in Israel, where he has made significant humanitarian contributions.
