Jonathan A. Zendeh Del

​A Galveston, Texas native, Jonathan is a graduate of Baylor University, where he earned his B.B.A. in Real Estate and Management. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jonathan moved to Oklahoma to attend law school on a merit scholarship. Jonathan graduated from law school at the top of his class. While in law school, Jonathan was a member of the Law School Honor Fraternity, the Student Senate, the Student Bar Association Executive Committee, was the Treasurer of the Student Bar Association, participated in the Moot Court Competition, was a member of the Moot Court Society, judged Moot Court competitions, was the recipient of a Merit Scholarship, and repeatedly made the Dean’s Honor List for achieving outstanding grades in law school.

Prior to forming Zendeh Del & Associates, Jonathan was an insurance company lawyer who handled countless insurance defense cases involving complex personal injuries arising out of automobile accidents and alleged defective products. There, Jonathan practiced in both state and federal court on a daily basis. During his time practicing insurance defense Jonathan learned the insurance and personal injury business inside and out.

Prior to representing insurance companies, Jonathan worked at a civil litigation firm that served as general counsel to a national bank, and represented businesses in all types of business litigation. There, Jonathan represented the bank in numerous foreclosure filings and other transactions. Also at that firm, Jonathan represented clients in many different types of insurance claims including personal injuries andlawsuits against home insurance companies for wrongly denying claims.

After practicing law in Oklahoma, Jonathan returned to his native Galveston, Texas to establish Zendeh Del & Associates, where he and his wife are law partners.

Jonathan is a leader in the Galveston legal community where he serves on the Board of Directors of the Galveston County Bar Association and is the President of the Galveston County Young Lawyers Association.

Jonathan has achieved from Martindale-Hubbell the rating of “preeminent” and has a 100% Client Review Rating.

Jonathan has been named to The National Trial Lawyers “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” list.

Jonathan has also received from AVVO, a prominent Lawyer Rating Directory, the rating of SUPERB (10.0 out of 10.0) for his experience, industry recognition, and professional conduct as a lawyer.

Carolyn Peterson Zendeh Del
Attorney


Carolyn Zendeh Del is a proud graduate of the Galveston public school system. Following high school Carolyn attended the University of Kansas and received her Bachelor of Science in Business – Accounting. Carolyn then moved to Oklahoma to attend law school as a merit scholar. Carolyn was an elected member of the Student Bar Association and was a board member of the Texas Legal Society.

Carolyn’s family has called Galveston home since the 1800’s. Carolyn comes from a long line of prominent judges and attorneys including people who have been JAG officers in the military, state court judges, court of appeals justices, and even one family member who has sat on the United States Supreme Court.

Carolyn is a founding member of Zendeh Del & Associates.  From 2012 – 2014 Carolyn left the office and became a prosecutor at the Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office. While she greatly enjoyed her time there, Carolyn knew that family was a priority. Carolyn returned to Zendeh Del & Associates in 2014 so that she would have the autonomy to better balance her work and family life.  Carolyn serves as an attorney and mediator.

Carolyn’s focus is now on mediation. Carolyn is both civil and family mediation certified.

Gabe Perez
Attorney


Gabe Perez, Esq., is an associate attorney at Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC. Gabe holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from The University of Texas at El Paso.  Gabe earned his Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University’s College of Law and a visiting student at the University of Oklahoma School of Law.

During his time at The University of Texas at El Paso (“UTEP”), Gabe was a Senator-at-Large for the Student Government Association, a member of the UTEP Men’s Division 1 Track & Field Team, and a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. Gabe excelled in college track and field and was part of two (2) WAC Championship Teams.

During his time in law school Gabe was an active member of the Texas Legal Society, Hispanic Law, Family Law and Multicultural Law Societies.

Prior to joining Zendeh Del & Associates, PLLC, Gabe managed the Bankruptcy department at his prior firm and successfully reorganized and liquidated countless businesses through Chapter 11 and 7 bankruptcy proceedings. Gabe also represented various Credit Union in consumer bankruptcy cases (Chapter 7 and 13), judicial and non-judicial foreclosure proceedings, collection proceeding and other various banking law transactions.

While residing in El Paso Gabe served as the president and treasurer of the Border Bankruptcy Bar Association. Gabe was also an active member of El Paso Bar Association and the local and state Young Lawyers Associations.

Gabe is fully bilingual (English & Spanish), and is a proud father and husband.

Gabe practices Family Law, Immigration Law, Bankruptcy Law, General Civil and Commercial Litigation, and Landlord-Tenant Law. Gabe practices in both state and federal court.
